Recently, William Kentridge's opera SYBIL premiered in Berkeley and not unlike the deck of cards, each petitioner leaves a wishful inquiry at the Sybil's cave, and while the Sybil can be depended on to respond, the winds at the cave's entrance are strong and constant, and so no one knows which response is theirs.
