When Albert Einstein spoke of time being relative, it was in reference to washing machines. He knew full well that modern engineering would spin the inner drum with such force it would blur into hyperspace, existing at simultaneous multiple points before jumping ahead. And thus, the seeming disparity of the twenty-minute cycle that takes half an hour.

The red brick has begun to flake away from the front of the church up the street. The building is molting, clearly. I look forward to the day when the entire shell crumbles, and a glistening new church lifts up from the ruin. It would take this much for me to believe in God.
